    Welcome the Kwok- HB REP!

MGNinc is pleased to welcome Mac Kwok Motorsport to the family for the 2012/13 drift season.  Initially we thought this was a great way to meet our token minority quota, get a share of some wind and fishing rights, or at the very least access to some top  notch chop suey when in the bay…… but what it really represents is a chance to help one of those fantastic family teams who do it all their way….the Kwok HB way.

Ever since coming across a drift day at Taupo on the way home from a Moto-X meet, Mac Kwok has been obsessed with drifting. Never one to do things the easy way, he and his team have been working away out of the spotlight in the Hawkes Bay for a number of years trying to perfect their unique V8 twin turbo monster and are quietly confident that the coming year will bring them better fortune.

Kwok will remain strongly backed for 2012/13 by Milwaukee Tools as his major sponsor with ‘Magic Maori Mike’ serving as team manager , and also has Luxury Sports on board again for the season along with the backing of several ‘Bay’ business’ . The car will take on a fresh design from the studios of  JOPT creative.

Mac says he is confident that a stronger driveline setup, refined tuning by Tauranga’s D-Tech Motorsport and focusing  just on driving will allow him to improve on last years best of top 8 appearances. He did say tho that speedway is calling him strongly and he wasn’t adverse to a bit of superstock action in the future, with the word ‘tank’ was floated a couple of times.

The car is currently undergoing a full makeover that we’ll reveal at a a later date, but for now, it’s welcome to Mac Kwok Motorsport!

Mac wants to thank his Family and all his sponsors for their ongoing support, and is looking forward to a big season ( oh and his baby which is due in December!)
